Royal Worcester white / yellow leaf jug, 1954
Medium size Royal Worcester leaf jug from 1954.
The lemon yellow highlights on this jug are quite unusual, as the design is much more commonly found in plain white.
This moulded leaf design jug was produced over a very long time in a variety of sizes. This is one of the medium sizes.
It measures approximately 15 cm (6") at its tallest, and the base has a diameter of 8 cm (3.2").
The jug carries a green Royal Worcester backstamp, with the date code for 1954.
The jug is in good condition, with no cracks or crazing noted. There is a flaw in the potting to the handle, but this is from the original manufacture.
