A stunning and very rare Clovelly pattern coffee pot and stand designed by Rex Whistler. This iconic design was originally for use on textiles created by the Clovelly Estates Company featuring vignettes of the picturesque Devon village. This is an early example dating to the early 1940's and is in excellent vintage condition. Just a very tiny factory spot on the top rim where the glaze has missed (photo 2) and some fine crazing to the stand. In remarkable condition for it's age. Approx 21.5cm high to the top of the finial. The stand is 16cm dia and sits 1.8cm high
