A Very Unusual Mahogany Revolving Bookcase, Batchelor's Filing Cabinet

This is a very unusual piece, at the bottom we have a 2 drawer filing cabinet one normal height drawer and the lower is a double height drawer divided in 2 sections to accommodate large files, this stands on a moulded plinth
The top section revolves on this section, each of the 4 sides offer different storage solutions, side 1 has 4 small drawers, side 2 has 2 shelves and a pull out writing side, side 3 has 3 pigeon holes and a small shelf and side 4 has 3 shelves, so as you can see very useful
Also the top has a galleried edge, so doubles up as an occasional table, the cabinet is made in beautifully figured mahogany with an ebonised detail and knobs
A superb piece for storage where space is limited, it is in good condition and very good looking
The cabinet is 37” tall, and 24” square
