Circa 1800. A pair of late George III mahogany framed barrel back chairs, the curved and shaped top with a piped section towards the base, with a large stuff over seat and arms, the facings of the arms in mahogany are curled and ribbed on the facing, the ribbing continuing down to meet the top of the legs. The back legs are square and slightly out swept, the elegant front legs are square with reeding on two facings and flower heads on the top and the sides.
