Circa 1920, pair of painted oak French open bookcases of neat size. The narrow rectangular top has a moulded edge, above 2 adjustable shelves with reeded and rounded facings. There is also reeding on the back uprights. Beneath the bottom shelf is a simple apron and the bookcases stand on simple cabriole legs.

Size 92cm high x 57cm wide x 20cm deep.
