Fabulous pair of large 19th.c. marine lanterns by the celebrated maritime hardware makers Davey & Co. c.1890. Of impressive size, glazed on three sides with a rippled reflector at the rear of each and handle to the top, ideal for garden lighting. With original oil lamps to the interior, ready to use with original glass chimneys and plenty of wick. Altrnatively the lamps can be easily slid out to allow a large candle to be stood in its place. Fabulous quality with bevelled glass, decorative pierced detail, hinged door to one side and hanging bracket to the rear. Excellent condition, original through with a Davey & Co London label to each.
