This is a beautiful pair of 19th century Damascus tripod antique tables. The antique tables are inlaid throughout with geometric motifs of mother of pearl. Raised on knopped supports and on three cabriole legs. The tables are a delightful design measuring 60cm high the tops being 32cm by 22cms wide. Remarkably the mother of pearl is all present and is inlaid into the table set in fine, solid silver stringing.
These are extremely rare and highly decorative tables with good provenance. They were formerly part of the Stanley J Seeger collection and still bear the catalogued labels to the underside of the top surface.
