Pair of late 19th cent, heavy quality brass candlesticks, these have circular spun bases and have working sliding candle ejectors in the sides. They are in excellent original condition. Sizes: 7”(18cms) high, 3 ¾ “(9 ½ cms) high. Date circa 1880. I have reluctantly decided that after 60 years spent in this marvellous business it is, figuratively speaking, time to hang up my cheque book. I have therefore made considerable reductions to the prices of most of my stock. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if any items are of interest. Deliveries carried at as normal. I have been in the antiques business since 1962, starting in the family business in Staffordshire.
In the early 1970’s I moved to Hertfordshire where I opened my own business and created a limited company.
Today, my business is carried out via the internet. Any successful antiques business, and particularly mine, remains a way of life and a hobby, it continues to give me enormous enjoyment and satisfaction.
