Original paintwork table top, craftsman made new base.
The top retains it's gorgeous original painted appearance, now fully waxed & sealed to provide a tough, clean surface.
The base is new and very skillfully constructed using the same pegged joints as an antique one would have.
It has been carefully carved to provide a perfect collaboration of the old painted top against a heavy new, robust base.

The table is heavy and very stable.

Useful, good looking piece.
