Oak Flemish settle / coffer, c1720

A fine quality antique 18th Century oak settle/bench with void interior under a hinged lid, c1720. This is a quality piece, which we believe to be Flemish.
The quality of the carving is very good, with the front, sides, arms and upper pediment all profusely decorated. The upper pediment has a lovely carved face, and there are six panels across the front depicting various scenes/persons in historic dress.
The coffer has aged well, with great patina. It has a deep colour that only old wood can achieve. Overall condition is good, with small areas of historic woodworm (treated) and minor surface wear in line with age and use - but all very much as you would expect from something 300 years old.
We are unsure whether the hinges are original, but they appear to have some age.
Size: 123cm tall x 122cm long x 43cm deep.
