Minton Majolica ewer and stand which features putti supporting the stem of the ewer, a cherub riding a dolphin below the spout. A merboy with entwined serpents to the handle. The base has serpents around the rim. Merboys and satyr heads with open mouths around the central panel. Colouration: cobalt blue, green, ochre, are predominant. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1859.
