Stylish Chinese sideboard c.1930. Traditional Chinese construction in solid hardwood of particularly good colour and grain. Cleated border to the top with raised ends in the manner of traditional altar antique tables. Three drawers over a large cupboard (internal depth 21") with unusual bi-fold doors. Moulded drawer and door fronts with decorative brass handles and hinges. Note the large locking clasp and key for the middle drawers. Shallow shaped apron with carved detail to the front below the doors. Panelled sides and rear. Solid hardwood drawer linings. Very good condition, restored cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
