A Large Victorian pine blanket box.
The box is made from good quality pine and of solid construction and it is very sound and clean inside
The chest has hand been cleaned and waxed retaining all the natural beauty of the old wood, the handles have a shabby stripped paint finish
In its original setting the chest would be in a Victorian house storing blankets and linen
The Chest has a double moulded edge around the top and it stands on a complete plinth which look as good from the back as it does from the front
