Large Still Life Oil Painting
Unusually large style still life oil painting on canvas. 63" x 36" canvas plus frame. An 18th.c. style still life composition of a stag's head, fish, various fruits and grapes. A dog overlooks the scene at the left hand side whilst a cat toys with a lizard on a shelf in the upper left hand corner. Note also a couple of flies and the peacock butterfly which have settled in the picture. Presented in a gilded and moulded wooden frame. Good condition, would benefit from cleaning.
