Large Cut Crystal & Silver Match Strike - 1922
A stunning large and heavy cut crystal table-top match strike topped with English sterling silver.
The strike is beautifully cut with a honeycomb design to the bottom section and a finely cut band for striking non-safety matches. I have displayed and photographed this piece with extra long matches as it's a large example and regular sized matches are too small.
The silver is fully hallmared for the highly collectible Chester assay office and the year 1922. The makers mark is also present for the silversmith, Joseph and Richard Griffin.
Excellent condition measuring approximately 3 1/2" in diameter x 3 1/4" tall.
