A very good Queen Anne style burr walnut pedestal desk of generous proportions. Well constructed in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. Of serpentine form with a series of 9 drawers, all fitted with their original solid brass handles. The drawer fronts all cross banded with herring bone inlay. The top fitted with a sumptuous leather writing surface with Greek key tooling to the surround. All standing on squat cabriole legs with carved shell motifs to the knees. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops to a very high standard. Now offered for sale in excellent condition, with a great colour, ready to go straight into the home or office.
