Large Architectural French Cast Iron Cross
A Large Architectural French Cast Iron Cross
This Magnificent antique cast iron cross from the church yard of a derelict country church in France.
The Cross would have been cast about 15o years ago
The cross, though hollow is very heavy indeed it has much of its original silver paint still intact, it has a small chip at the back of the base but it is a bit rusty due to natural weathering
A decorative architectural treasure which could be used outdoors or in, there are 4” iron pegs on the bottom which were used to fix the cross to its base
The cross is 49” high x 25” across and 7” deep
