Large mid 19th.c. toleware tea canister c.1850 converted to a very good looking table lamp. 17″ tall tin canister with original green and gold paintwork and hand painted chinoiserie style decoration featuring oriental figures in a temple garden within a shaped border. Brass bulb fitting and gold braided flex. Minor wear to the paintwork, otherwise excellent condition, cleaned rewired and PAT tested.
