Large 18th Century Sampler
A large and very accomplished Sampler, embroidered by Ann Bradley, aged 15 years 7 months and dated 1724.
The sampler is composed of Grosse and Petite Point stitching and was made in commemoration of her grandparents, James and Ann Bradley, and crafted by her at 'Miss Clarkson School, Oldbury'.
It is in beautiful condition, with evidence of only a tiny piece of restoration. The sampler fills the frame which measures 78.5 cm (31") high x 48 cm (19") wide. All items are sold with a 14 day money back guarantee. In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase, we will gladly issue a refund (excluding carriage costs). The item must be returned in the same condition as it left us. The refund will be issued on the item's return to our premises.
