A very good quality Victorian figured walnut writing table of kidney shaped form. The davenport style centre fall lifts to reveal a fitted interior consisting of 3 sycamore drawers and 6 pigeon holes. The top with original cast brass gallery and three shaped writing surfaces ,all hand dyed green leather with gold and blind tooling. The 2 bow fronted drawers with cock beading and turned knobs.The concave centre with carved and pierced decoration. The whole standing on turned and carved dual end supports with well carved cabriole legs, a joining stretcher and brass castors. With locks and keys. A fine example of Victorian walnut antique furniture in superb condition. Sizes - Width..49''..124.5cm. Depth..23.75''..60cm. Height..32.75''..83cm. Delivery on this item to U.K. mainland £75.
