We have for sale a lovely John Pennington Liverpool blue and white porcelain tea bowl dating to around 1780.
This interesting tea bowl is decorated with printed designs incorporating a mother and child on one side, an oriental island on the other and a man with an umbrella to the interior.
The tea bowl is approximately 1.75 inches (4.4cm) high, 3.25 inches (8.2cm) in diameter and is in a good condition other than a faint hairline to one side of the body, a glazed over and decorated firing fault to the rim and the surface ware one would expect in a 240 year old piece of porcelain.
