A very unusual aluminium cased Rivex wall antique clock with an eight day mechanical escapement movement (no pendulum). This has been fully serviced and is in full working condition. The clock was made for Bharat Commerce And Industries Limited. This business was based in Delhi and was originally incorporated as Bharat Airways Limited. Its airline business was nationalised and became Indian Airlines. Silvered dial with black Arabic numbers. Brass bezel holding the glass in the door which is hinged at the top of the case compared to the normal side hinge. circa 1920 ED-83
