Impressive French Boulle Bureau Plat Desk
A very smart French freestanding boulle bureau plat. The whole inlaid with intricate cut brass on a faux red
tortoiseshell ground and having ornate gilt metal mounts. The rectangular serpentine shaped top having a
boulle border with cast edge beading and a replaced tooled black leather writing surface. The shaped frieze
concealing 2 drawers, which are secured by locks behind the shield shaped centre which drops to allow
access to the key holes. The fine tapering cabriole legs with fine male head mounts and beading running
