Dicksee, celebrated for his lifelike animal portrayals, meticulously studied big cats at the London Zoo to achieve remarkable accuracy in his work. A Fellow of the Zoo, his dedication is evident in the power and realism of this etching.

The daughter destroyed the engraving plates after his passing.
Height 74 cm, width 89 cm, depth 4 cm Customers are more than welcome to come and view and collect items from the unit in Winchcombe, Gloucestershire Gl54 5JE (appointment only). All items are checked and restored to a professional standard before leaving.
