A writing desk made by Heal & Son of Tottenham Court Road in London. Constructed from quarter sawn oak with a lightly limed finish. The finish is original having been only carefully cleaned and polished. There is an ivorine makers mark let into the top of the right-hand draw front.
This piece would also make an ideal buffet/sideboard.
