A beautiful hand painted Tibetan pillow box, traditionally used by a new bride to keep her antique jewellery safe whilst she slept.

The box is decorated with the Gesang flower which is a symbol of prosperity in Tibet. Pillow shaped with a detailed brass latch and closure, this unusual box would make a lovely wedding gift.
