Exceedingly pretty petal based Georgian brass candlestick with push-up ejector of blue steel. The bobeche echoes the petal shape of the base.
The design of this candlestick dates from 1740, but was used all through the 18th century after that date until about 1800.
The candlestick is in excellent condition and the ejector works very well.
