An excellent early example of Constance Spry's mantle vase design, made at Fulham Pottery in the 1930's. Unglazed in a biscuit colour to the outside and glazed to the centre. A very good clean example with no chips or nibbles, although there are a few fine hairlines to the base. 3 on one side and one on the other (please see photos). Fully marked to the base with FMC incised, Fulham Pottery mark and 'C' for Constance. Wire insert included.
