Mid-Century Oil on Board of a French village landscape. A typical French village scene evoked in bold hues by listed Swedish artist Jack Eichborn (1906-1981).

This expressive oil on board is in a fabulous condition, beautifully presented in the original painted wooden frame.
Using strong colour and vivid brushwork the artist evokes a typical French village landscape.
Signed by the artist bottom left.

Jack Eichborn. Born 1906 and died 1981. Eichborn has been represented in Museums in Paris, New York and Barcelona amongst various regional Swedish museums. This piece was purchased in Sweden. Likely painted 1950/60, it is a bright, delicately painted street scene in vibrant colours - a signature style of Eichborn.
