CAROLINE BURNETT (1877-1950) was an American-born artist who studied in Paris towards the earlier part of her career she was known for her Impressionist street scenes of Paris.
Her painting style reflected the contemporary movement that was occurring in France during her time there.
She was a member of the Societe de Beaux-Arts in Paris, where she exhibited her works in 1898.
A beautiful large scale original oil on canvas painting of a Parisian street scene with the Eiffel Tower prominent in the background.
This painting perfectly depicts life in the ''City of Lights'' with its restaurants, busy streets, cafes and wonderful architecture.
This lively piece of artwork would enhance any setting with its Post-Impressionist style. Signed Burnett.
Painted in the manner of renowned French artist, Antoine Blanchard.
Using both light and shadow with skill and precision, she painted cityscapes showing each season in Paris.
