A French brass striking carriage antique clock, retailed by Goldsmiths Company, London. A full size brass case with shaped carrying handle and bevelled glass panels. A circular enamel dial with stylised blue Arabic numerals, surrounded by a gilt masking. The antique clock is signed by retailers 'Goldsmith Company, 112 Regent Street, London, Paris'. An 8 day duration mechanism, striking the hours and half hours on a gong. Circa 1885.
