A French carriage clock 'Douchine' serpentine styled case. Concave and convex case mouldings and standing on bun feet. An enamel dial with blued steel hands and black Roman numerals. An 8-day duration mechanism. A lever escapement visible through the oblong top glass. The original travelling box. Circa 1910.
