French Rosewood Box Filing Cabinet, Wellington Chest

This is a traditional French Cartonniere, it is a Wellington style lockable cabinet which holds 5 Box files, which have fall fronts and slide out.
The main body of the cabinet is made in rosewood in the regency style with reeded columns at the sides, and delicately turned legs with brass feet. The right hand side locks keeping all the files secure, the key and lock work well.
The files are good heavy quality with tooled leather fronts and brass handles, (these are 13” deep, 4.5” high and 13.5” wide internally)
The Cabinet is 16” wide, 38” tall, and 15” deep,
