French Burr Walnut Bookcase With Marble Top
Good decorative French burr walnut and marble top open bookcase, finished with Classical figure columns in the Empire style, although this is circa 1920.
Lovely warm colour tone and it's a great proportion, nice height so you can easily see the top of it and use it for further display on the shaped marble top.
Generous height and depth to the shelves.
Measuring:
50” or 127cm high
47 1/2” or 120.5cm wide
16” or 40.5cm deep
Top shelf 14”
Middle shelf 15”

All 14” deep Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
