A lovely double bed frame. We date this bed to the very early 20th century.

The bed comes in four sections, the head and footboards, the metal side rails and a beach bowed slatted base.

The bed sits on attractive carved legs and the side rails have a lovely carved edge.

The headboard and footboard both have a decoratively carved top centerpiece.

The headboard has a height of 65.5" (167cm) and the footboard a height of 41" (104cm), both by 64" (163cm) wide and overall length 83” (211cm). The base will support a mattress 75" (191cm) long by 54" (137cm) wide.

This lovely bed remains in very good solid condition with some minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. The bed has some minor mellowing to head and foot boards with some minor indents to some edges

This remains a very stylish and elegant bed which will continue to provide sweet repose for many years to come.
