Very pretty early 19th century Worcester coffee cup, c.1810, the Barr, Flight & Barr period. Based on a bute cup shape with a break in the profile just below the ring handle. Beautifully painted in an ornate pattern in the imari palette with gilded highlights. Incised B mark to the base.

It measures 4 1/4" 911cm) rim to handle, 3 5/8" (8.5cm) rim to rim and 2 1/2" (6.5cm) high. Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration. Surface wear is very light, just a little wear to the gilding at a small section of the rim. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
