Flight Barr & Barr Trio With Large Breakfast Cup

Something for the Worcester collector, an unusual Flight Barr and Barr period trio with a very large breakfast cup.
This trio consists of deep saucer, a large breakfast cup and a normal sized coffee cup all in the Flight Barr and Bar London shape but with the modified handle consisting of a flattened and feathered top illustrated in A compendium of British Cups by Michael Berthoud, Plate number 563. This unusual unmarked trio is decorated with gilt, blue and red forget-me-nots on a white ground.
The Saucer in the trio is approximately 6 & 3/4 inches (17.0cm) in diameter and the large breakfast cup is just short of 6 inches (15.0cm) in diameter including the handle and 2 & 1/3 inches (6cm) high. The trio is in an excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs and only a little bit of wear to the gilt in places.
