Sweet Worcester porcelain blue and white coffee cup painted in underglaze blue in the Candle Fence pattern, c.1770. Blue crescent mark to base.

Reference: Worcester Blue & White Porcelain 1751 -1785, Branyan, French & Sandon, plate I.D.18.

It measures 6.5cm (2 9/16") high, 6cm (2 3/8") rim to rim and 8.5cm (3 3/8") rim to handle.

Condition is very good there is a very small filled chip to the outside at the rim just to the right of the handle, this cannot be seen inside. No other damage or restoration and very light surface wear. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
