This is without doubt, the finest quality Sofa Table you will find from the period. Made of Walnut with Mahogany interior in the 1920s in London and would have been retailed by a good firm such as Maples.
The 2 flaps lift up either end each supported by 2 swing out lofas, the 2 front drawers are lockable (key present). The carved detailing is crisp and unusually has a carved moulding around the top edge. The back is identical to the front so can be free standing in a room.
In excellent original condition with a warm Walnut colour and patina.
