Ready for the home, this Ercol studio sofa or single bed (model number 355, as seen in the 1965 brochure page 21) was designed during the 1950s by Lucian Ercolani. Then manufactured throughout the mid-20th century, contributing towards the world-renowned style of Mid-Century Modern furniture that brings Scandinavian and traditionally British techniques and designs together.
A highly desirable piece with recent upholstery which is a complimentary silver-grey velvet colour, pairing well with the warm blonde beech and warm caramel tones of the Elm backrest.
Suitable for lounges or bedrooms this item can be used in multiple spaces for prime style and comfort.

In a very good condition, some signs of age related wear can be seen overall. The webbing has been previously replaced. As stated above this item comes with recent upholstery.

Dates as circa 1960-1970s.
Made from Elm & Beech.
