A mid-20th century design classic and ever popular Wentworth sofa or daybed from Toothill. Made from solid afromosia on a sturdy steel frame and featuring copper to support the afromosia veneered side trays which cantilever out when using the sofa as a day bed. Afromosia and copper elements also high-light the cleverly engineered back rest which can be flipped out of the way when the sofa is used as a bed.
One side tray has a very faint ring mark and minor bubbling in the veneer that does not detract from the overall appearance of this piece which is in very good vintage condition having newly replaced and recovered cushioning in bright red fabric.
