The suite is constructed from fabulous satinwood veneers on a solid mahogany frame, with decorative horizontal maple string inlay. This suite boasts classic Art Deco styling throughout this is visible in the curved corners, stepped design and clean lines. This is possibly the best quality and most comprehensive Art Deco bedroom suite we have ever come across, boasting fabulous English craftsmanship, all handmade, which is in good original condition. This is a complete Art Deco suite, which is not missing any of its sections. It’s extremely rare to find Art Deco suites of this quality, which are complete, and have not had pieces sold off separately.

Bed:
The suite includes a 4ft 6” wide bed, which fits a standard UK double size mattress. The headboard and footboard feature a stepped design, flanked by curved corners, with a recessed maple plinth below. The wardrobe boasts stunning mirror matched veneers incorporating elegant maple string inlay, in the shape of horizontal parallel lines that featured on the headboard and the footboard. The bed stands on elegant recessed curved maple plinths. The original metal angle irons bolt to the original metal brackets. This bed is designed to incorporate a sprung base (which is not included), on which the mattress would rest.

Pair of Bedsides:
The pair of bedsides features a recessed top, which incorporates a single drawer. The drawer is mahogany lined with fine hand dovetail construction. Below, hinged doors open to reveal a large storage area, with a central shelf. The bedsides retain the original Bakelite handles and circular back plates. The bedsides benefit from a curved frame and sit on recessed maple plinths. The bedsides boast stunning mirror matched satinwood veneers and maple string inlay, with lovely curved corners to the frame

Dressing Table
The dressing table boasts a wonderful design, with shaped glass central shelves, flanked by staggered pedestal curved fronts, above a concave frame. The dressing table features a 3ft-bevelled mirror, supported by strong vertical brackets. The original metal adjustment hinge is present, and allows you to adjust the angle of the mirror on the brackets. The dressing table pedestal tops retain their original glass tops. The six drawers are mahogany lined with fine hand dovetail construction and retain their original Bakelite handles and circular back plates, with the central drawer incorporating maple string inlay.

Stool
The suite incorporates a stunning looking dressing table stool. Benefitting from a curved design, the padded seat has been newly upholstered in top quality full grain cream leather, finished with twin piping.

Two Door Wardrobe
The two-door wardrobe features a lovely break front stepped design, with curved corners. The doors open to reveal a hanging section on the left hand side. At the bottom of the hanging area, there are two horizontal metal tubes, which are used to rest shoes on. On the right hand side of the wardrobe comprises a fitted interior with a combination of shelves and drawers, consisting of an open cupboard at the top, with two sliding bevelled glass-fronted compartments below. The glass doors lift up and slide inwards, into the cupboard. The glass compartments also include their original ball locking mechanism. The glass is bevelled and the reeded turned knobs incorporate bone detail. Further below, is a pull out drawer with several square compartments, ideal for storing ties or smaller items of clothing or antique jewellery. A large open compartment is featured below, along with three large drawers at the bottom of the wardrobe. The drawers are mahogany lined and constructed with fine hand dovetail joints. Both doors retain the original working locks (with key), door latches and the original Bakelite handles. The doors even feature lockable closure hinges, to allow you to adjust the maximum opening of the doors. The wardrobe sits on a recessed maple plinth. Stunning mirror matched satinwood veneers adorn the wardrobe, decorated with parallel maple string inlay across the central doors. This is a single piece wardrobe, however the plinth is detachable.

Three Door Wardrobe
The three-door wardrobe features a lovely break front stepped design, with curved corners. The doors open to reveal a hanging section on the two left hand doors, along with a storage compartment in the top right corner. At the bottom of the hanging area, there are two horizontal metal tubes, which are used to rest shoes on. The left hand door incorporates a portrait mirror on the inside. On the right hand side of the wardrobe comprises a fitted interior with a combination of shelves and drawers consisting of an open cupboard at the top, with two sliding bevelled glass-fronted compartments below. The glass doors lift up and slide inwards, into the cupboard. The glass compartments also include their original ball locking mechanism. The glass is bevelled and the reeded turned knobs incorporate bone detail.
