This is an attractive, adjustable, Edwardian Brass Table Lamp or Desk Lamp, although it could be used in many situations.

The lamp features a tightly stepped, weighted, circular base, with an upright column, terminating in a brass, pierced sun shaped finial. The arm of the shade is infinitely adjustable by means of a ball ratchet, as well as the entire arm assembly being able to rise and fall on the brass column by means of the knurled nur.

The glass shade is in white glass with a clear, frilled rim, as shown..

The lamp has been rewired with antique gold coloured twisted, braided silk covered flex, has a safer switched lampholder and a new plug. As with all electrical items, it is recommended that it be checked by a qualified electrician before use.
