Early Staffordshire Pearlware Figure Of A Putto
A charming Staffordshire pearlware model of a putto holding a basket of flowers modelled in the style of the 18th century Derby putti. Set on a square base with shaped mound of grass and applied flowers with miniature bocage. c.1800
It measures 10cm (4") high and 4.2cm (1 1/8") wide across the base.
Condition is good with no damage or restoration to the figure but there are some paint/glaze losses, mainly to an area to the top and back of the head and the basket but a few other small losses dotted about. There have been chips to the flower in his headdress and the front one in the basket. There is a chip to the base foot at the back and another glaze loss to the edge of the back corner. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque. If you prefer to pay by Stripe please go to our website where we offer that option and additionally options to "Pay in 30 days" and to pay in 3 instalments, all securely supported.
Price includes UK shipping. Worldwide shipping is also available, please ask for a cost.
We wish to ensure all our customers are happy with their purchases and offer a full no quibble return policy for all items returned within 14 days. We ask that returns are notified within 7 days where possible. Return postage is the buyer's responsibility in terms of cost and safeguarding the item through transit.
