Very Rare Double Sided Glass Raleigh Bike Advertising Shop Sign
This is a beautiful Raleigh Bike Advertising Shop Sign, it is is made in in a crackle finish Mirror with Enamelled Text in Red and Dark Yellow
A great piece, dating back to the 1920s heyday of the Steel Bike and its huge popularity
The Double sided Shield Glass sign is set in a metal frame with large blacksmith made hanging hooks, the condition of the sign is very good but the hanging hooks are rusty, we have threaded them on to a pole for the purposes of display
The sign shows the R&Co trade mark in Red and Yellow, both sides are the same
The sign is 28” high, 18.5” wide and 2” thick
