Chinese porcelain underglazed red classic dragon vase - 2 dragons chasing a flaming pearl above sea pattern and among fiery clouds. Probably Kangxi Revival period - 1890 to 1910. Typical faults of the period - red has slightly misfired and is brown in places, burnt foot rim on exposed areas, some firing blemishes to base. Underglaze red was still a difficult colour to use during this period, resulting in many failures and therefore far fewer pieces were made than in underglaze blue.
Condition good.
