Wonderful carved Chinese hardwood hall bench in excellent antique condition with amazing patination that highlights its historic charm. The high backrest and front panel are profusely decorated with intricate carvings of mythical creatures, showcasing the excellent quality of the craftsmanship. The seat lifts to reveal a very clean interior, perfect for storing boots, shoes, bags, and other items. This is not only beautiful to look at, but also a very practical piece of history with amazing colouring and beautiful graining. The amazing colouring, beautiful graining and outstanding carving makes it a standout addition to any home.
