Chinese 18th Century 'clobbered' lidded ginger jar. Originally decorated in underglaze blue, gold, black, green, yellow and red enamels were later added in Europe - including a mock Chinese seal mark on base. The jar is decorated with a landscape, including a black elephant.
Condition: jar is in good condition. Lid has been broken in half and then repaired.
