Delicate saucer shaped porcelain egg drainer by Caughley with a shell shaped handle and clear printed pattern of the Fisherman & Cormorant, also known as the Pleasure Boat pattern, c.1785. S mark to the reverse.

It measures 9.5cm (3 3/4") handle to rim, 8cm (3 1/8") rim to rim and 1.5cm (5/8") high. Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration. Surface wear is minimal and the printing is very fine and crisp. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
