A superb burr walnut Carlton house desk in the queen Anne style. Very well constructed in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. The superstructure with a range of stationary drawers, cupboards and end compartments with lift-up concave lids. The main body of the desk fitted with its original brown leather writing surface and with a pair of short drawers flanking a longer central drawer. All standing on elegant cabriole legs with carved decorations to the knees and terminating in pad feet. This desk is finished to the rear so it could be free standing within a room if desired. Offered for sale in excellent condition with a great colour and patina.
